It's a weird movie. You can't stop watching it once it begins. It's bizarre, funny, and pretty much "King Kong" with a caveman. I asked a friend for a review of it. He said, "I've seen it." That's about the best way I can explain it.

You wouldn't buy a $500 VW bug (yeah i'm old)and expect it to run like a new Porsche, right? Why would you watch a movie like this and expect "Gone with the Wind" or "Citizen Cane"??? (Yeah, I'm really old!!) See the first two reviews??? THEY GET IT!!!~ Arch Jr must of been one of the luckiest kids on the planet in the 50s & 60s. He had the coolest father alive! Had him star in movies with some of the sweetest girls alive!! Hey, even they didn't take these movies too seriously! These are for FUN!!~! GET IT??? FYI-Arch Sr is the guy left by the helicopter in the beginning! I was fortunate to have a great father, God Bless his Soul, but you know Arch Sr would have been fine by me!!!

EEGAH! is fun if you turn off your brain and just try to enjoy the absurdity of it. A far better performance from Arch Hall Jr. can be found in the superb thriller, THE SADIST, also available here on the Archive. Look for it.

Sadly my own son has some resemblance to him.. Uhhhg! Listening to Arch sing reminds me of that rectal tooth extraction. They should rename this to "Arch tortures the audience" and did these bozo's really have to show up and kill him? They should be charged with murder. All Eegah was guilty of was simple assault, hardly worth the death penalty! If they were gonna shoot anyone it shoulda been Arch for singing like a frog out of tune! Maybe the audience to put us out of our misery watching this monstrosity.

I freaking LOVE this movie. It has everything you need for a fun time - Richard Kiel as a caveman, 60s cars and surf rock, beachy suburbia and deserts, low production values, incredibly cheesy dialogue, enormous plot holes, Arch Hall Jr and his musical entourage, obvious goofs and a classic storyline. One of the best, and I'm being serious.
